As of 9/25, most of the products for preorders are in! We are still waiting on a final shipment of straws, but that hasn’t kept us from plugging away at orders in the meantime. There are a LOT of orders and they all take time, so don’t worry when you see me sharing stories of people who got theirs already – we knew this would take a while to get through but the end of October is only a month away!
There is a lot of prep work that goes into each preorder:
- thorough quality checks of all items
- all cups and straws are wrapped in bubble wrap
- all apparel is tagged
- boxes folded
- each label is prepped with the size and weight of the package
All of that is to say, that packing orders has a lot of work before your items even get into their box!
Once everything is ready to go, we move boxes of products from a storage unit into the teeny tiny studio. There, either myself or my lovely studio assistants Becky and Norah pack everything up.
Between the prep work and actually packing orders, we average around 75 orders a day. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you see them all together it’s pretty impressive!
The postman usually comes by every morning to pick up the daily orders and then they are on their way to you! Domestic orders are all priority 2 day shipping.
Right now, even though we still have a lot of preorders to process, we are on track to hit our shipping estimate of late October. Hooray!
Are there going to be more preorders?
After these preorders are done, we will have a shop update with limited quantities of the hylian collection! This will be a mix of overstock from previous rounds, as well as restocks.
I’m still working out the details, but I’ll definitely have plenty of cups and sweatshirts and hopefully couple NEW additions if I can get them finished up in time 👀
