Creating a cute and cozy shopping experience in my market set up
A lot has changed in the past couple years of doing events and my market set up is always improving! This year I've been focusing on adding more color, streamlining the checkout experience, and expanding into a double booth.
Bringing in more personality
With a bigger space, I'm really trying to create more of a boutique shopping experience with my market set up. That means bringing in shelving, which is a lot of work to set up but totally worth it! Shelving helps everything look more organized, and also gives space for merchandizing. I've painted all of my ivar shelves to bring in more color and personality.
Clear visual communication
Adding in this small area that clearly says "come here to checkout" has been super helpful. Even with a table in the past, something about the window communicates easier to customers. I've also doubled the amount of pricing signage so no one has to awkwardly ask :)
I also created this fun and colorful pegboard to display new items in the shop. For a while things like stickers, pins, and hats were just randomly scattered around my booth - now they are all on display! This is such flexible piece and a perfect addition to my set up :)
I love seeing my market setup improve every year, I'm already dreaming up ideas for next year!
